I've been doing a lot of pondering lately (it sounds so much more productive than day dreaming doesn't it!!), trying to figure out where I want to take my practice this year. The last couple of years I've dabbled with a few things, from writing and publishing a book about Hashimoto's, to creating gluten, dairy & soy-free cookbooks, to building online programs, and of course, serving my one-on-one clients through my practice.
What I came to realise, is what a deeply personal journey finding health is for each and every one of us. The tools I use to help you are merely that, just tools. What is really important, is the transformation that I can help you achieve. Whether it is taking charge of your Hashimoto's so you control it, rather than it controlling you, how to regain your health when you've been diagnosed with a chronic illness, or guiding you through the difficult journey of completely changing your diet as you remove gluten and dairy without having the family revolt!
This year, I want to be more personal. I want to get to know you better, so that I can serve you better. But I realise that in order for you to open up and share your personal challenges, struggles, fears and obstacles, it's only fair that I also open up and let you in to my world. So, I guess I'm asking permission to tell you more about our journey in finding health. How we came to find our new "normal" and how we made the transition from mostly "bad" days, interspersed with the odd "good" day, to now where the "good" days seem to roll on for ages.
So if you can think of a way I can better serve you, please comment below and let me know what you need or desire. What are you struggling with? What do you not quite understand? What would you like to see more of? Whether it's an article you'd like me to write to explain something, a program to guide you through a challenge, or even a cookbook to give you ideas for when you're stumped.
I'm also partnering with a few other professionals, so that I can bring you offers that are outside of my area of expertise, but that I think you'll find interesting, informative and helpful. I'm really picky about who I work with, so there won't be a lot of them, only those that I think are of a high enough calibre for you.
With that in mind, I'd like to give you a quick heads-up about a free workshop that a good friend of mine is running for Tired Mamas this coming Sunday.
Nikki is an amazing inspiration for all of us Mums who struggle to keep up with everything. After becoming so exhausted that she ended up in hospital with a stroke scare, she has figured out how important it is that we nurture ourselves just as we nurture our families. Make sure you checkout her free workshop to hear her story and pick up all her great hints and tips.
So have a wonderful week, and I'll keep pondering (I'm not day-dreaming - I promise!!!) about what to bring you this year. I'd really love to hear from you, so please leave a comment below.
