How to Make Veggie Noodles (Zoodles)

Every wondered how they make those super-cool long veggie noodles?

Today I'm going to show you now​ quick and easy they are to make, even if you don't have a veggie spiraliser.

Admittedly (as you'll see in the video), for the thin spaghetti-like veggie noodles, this nifty little gadget is by far the quickest and easiest way, but if you prefer wider fettucini-style noodles, wait til you see how easy they are to make with something I'll bet you have in your kitchen drawer already!​

Veggie noodles are also a great way to get an extra serve of vegetables into your kids (both the little ones and the big ones!!)

When we are having them for dinner (or lunch), I'll usually get my girls into the kitchen to make the noodles as they find it fun - and they always sneak a few in when they think I'm not looking. Hey - if my kids want to "sneak" in veggies, I'm not going to complain!

So check out the video and see how quick and easy (and fun) they are to make. You can use them not just as a pasta replacement, but also in salads, or even use root veggies, toss them in some olive oil and bake them at high heat to make crunchy curly chips!​
